Food styling is my jam and I'm here to spread the love! Food is so much more than just sustenance. I believe food is art, and I treat each plate as a canvas. 

 

Food has always been a huge part of my life. Growing up, I was raised by the queen of cuisine and became a second-generation catering connoisseur. My mom taught me everything I know about food and instilled a deep love and appreciation for all things delicious and making food look as beautiful as it tastes. 

 

After working in the catering industry for 15 years, an unexpected opportunity arose from a most unlikely place: waffles.

I was asked to work on set for an Eggo waffles commercial shoot where the food stylist's assistant called out sick at the last minute. Given my catering background, I was asked to fill in as the food stylist assistant.

 

It was culinary kismet.

 

I immediately fell in love with the art of food styling. I felt like it allowed me to translate the flavors, aromas and textures of food into a story that evoked a deeper connection to the food we eat. 

 

After the Eggo shoot, I simply couldn’t Leggo’ my passion for food styling.

 

 After perfecting my craft and training with food styling experts like the fabulous Elizabeth James and Associates for 14 years. I’m now a seasoned pro with nearly 23 of experience making food look absolutely stunning.

I'm a rockstar in the kitchen, and I pour my heart and soul into every plate I style. I'm cool, calm, and collected, no matter how hot things get in the kitchen. I work fast and efficiently, but my attention to detail is second to none. Just as a perfect recipe requires the right balance of ingredients and technique, food styling demands a keen eye for aesthetics, composition, and color.

 

I understand the love and relentless pursuit of perfection that goes into your recipes and I’m here to showcase that passion into picture-perfect plates.
